The Camping Capo Ferrato Village offers its guests different types of tours throughout the area, distinguished by the characterisation of the unique programme of excursions for the “Sardinian Weeks”. Taking advantage of the tour operators, guides and local professionals in the area, you can take part in individual or group tours. You can find all the information and book the activities on offer at the campsite reception.
Sea excursions: inflatable boats and fishing tourism
In collaboration with several operators in the area, you can visit the beautiful Marine Park of Capo Carbonara – Villasimius, the two unspoiled islands of Serpentara and Dei Cavoli and the Capo Ferrato Nature Reserveby inflatable boat or with fishing tourism. The inflatable boat comes to pick up our guests from the beach near the campsite for a trip along the coast, with various stops for swimming and discovering hidden bays and coves. The boat for fishing tourism departs the Marina of Villasimius, offering an engaging way to get to know the sea by watching the fishing and eating on board. Due to weather issues and environmental breaks in fishing activities, these excursions are not always possible during the low season.
Costa Rei Diving Trips
The Camping Village works closely with the Costa Rei Diving School , which accompanies our guests on different types of dives in the Cape Carbonara- Villasimius Marine Park and at Capo Ferrato. The diving school organises PADI courses at various levels and employs multilingual teachers. During the program of “Sardinian Weeks” we also organise guided snorkelling events for our guests with a marine biologist. Because of weather conditions, the diving activities take place from May to early October.
Environmental excursions in off-road parks, hiking, mountain biking and birdwatching
Accompanied by professional environmental guide, you can visit Sette Fratelli Nature Park, with its beautiful hiking trails that can also been explored off-road. Several beautiful and scenic routes unwind through theCapo Ferrato Nature Reserveon Monte Ferru, passing by the lighthouse and the coves of the promontory, and also the Feraxi and Colostrai Lagoons recognised for their importance as S.C.I. zones. The guide will pick guests up at the campsite and accompany them, individually or in small groups, on trails of various levels of difficulty and length. These tours are offered throughout the season.
The Riding School
The riding school organises horseback riding for beginners and professionals, including on the beach and along nearby paths. The riding school is located a few kilometres from the Camping Village and is open throughout the season.
